Prevacid

Prevacid, also known as Lansoprazole, is part of a group of medications called proton pump inhibitors and is used to treat and prevent stomach and intestinal ulcers, erosive esophagitis and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Prevacid can also be used to treat and rid the body of H. pylori a major cause of duodenal ulcers.

Take the whole pill before eating and with a large glass of water. Do not open or crush the capsule as it is a time release medication.
